Call Center Representative TEKsystems $25.00 / hr life insurance, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, California, Mission Viejo Aug 13, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and screen incoming internal and external calls
- Provide callers with information and direct calls to the appropriate departments
- Monitor emergency and priority phone lines and respond immediately to urgent communications
- Dispatch security and facilities personnel via radio communication systems
- Announce emergency codes and important notifications overhead throughout the hospital
- Monitor security alarms, cameras, and communication systems
- Coordinate with hospital staff while following established hospital communication protocols Training
- Comprehensive PBX training provided
- Approximately 4-6 weeks of full-time training
- Training includes phone systems, emergency paging procedures, code announcements, and hospital communication protocols
- Emergency code announcements are considered the most challenging part of the role and require significant practice Desired Skills

- Ability to remain calm and focused during emergencies
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable handling difficult or upset callers
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment Work Environment
- Private office setting located within the hospital campus
- Independent role with frequent communication across multiple hospital departments
- Business casual or professional office attire required Schedule
- 4/10 work schedule (four 10-hour shifts per week)
- Must be available to work weekends
- Preferred set shifts available, including Friday and Saturday coverage

- This is a Contract position based out of Mission Viejo, CA.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
