Job Description

Summary of Position:
Our Customer Service representative will provide sales coordination, phone and administrative support to our Morgan Hill sales team and other account managers as assigned. This role is a liaison between GCF customers and its support teams. Success in this role requires the ability to communicate customer expectations effectively to internal stakeholders while keeping the customer informed. Our customer service representative must be able to work cross-functionally and maintain a high level of customer service. Essential Duties for all
Employees:
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment that promotes work safety and product integrity.
  • You must follow all Safety, HACCP & GMP requirements always.
  • Willing to be flexible to accommodate changing business conditions.
  • Ensure cleanliness around the facility, freezer, and production area.
Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Order fulfillment - Order acceptance, verify order accuracy, order acknowledgement, process order, verify pickup or delivery. Able to coordinate effectively with internal business partners.
Exceptional Customer Service:
follow-up, customer notification of changes and customer confirmations
  • Ensuring compliance with GC Farms credit control policy
  • Daily Document control: Electronic filing of customer order documentation
  • General Duties necessary to maintain sales flow
  • Prepare reports and other tasks assigned.
  • Build and maintain strong and effective relations with external and internal customers
  • Able to identify gaps in our processes and promote internal efficiencies
Qualifications:
  • Associates (2 year) degree preferred plus 3 years plus experience in food/produce environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and phone etiquette
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a confident and professional manner; accept responsibility, make competent decisions independently, and able to recognize when escalation is required.
  • Thrive in a cooperative team environment
Physical Requirements:
Most duties require long periods of sitting and will work in an office setting.
