Job Description
Job Summary A well-established community bank in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Client Service Representative to join its branch team on a direct hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a banking professional who enjoys building customer relationships, supporting daily branch operations, and helping clients select the right financial products and services. The Client Service Representative will support both teller transactions and new account services while delivering a high level of care to new and existing banking clients. Opportunities are available at the
CSR I, CSR II, CSR
III, and Senior CSR levels, with placement based on banking experience, new account knowledge, and overall skill level. This role offers a stable, customer-focused environment with supportive branch leadership, a strong team culture, and room for continued professional growth within community banking. Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional service to new and existing banking clients in a branch environment.
- Process teller transactions accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with bank procedures.
- Open and maintain consumer accounts, business accounts, CDs, IRAs, checking accounts, and savings accounts based on experience level.
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
- Resolve account inquiries, support daily branch operations, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Follow all banking regulations, internal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $41,600 to $65,000 per year.

- Compensation and position level will be determined by banking background, new account expertise, and overall experience. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Process teller transactions and provide front-line client support.
- Open and maintain consumer and business banking accounts.
- Assist clients with checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and related financial products.
- Support branch operations while maintaining compliance with banking policies and procedures.
- Previous banking experience required.
- Teller experience required for CSR I level.
- 1+ years of banking experience preferred for CSR II level.
- 2+ years of banking experience required for CSR III level, including experience opening consumer and business accounts.
- 3+ years of banking experience required for Senior CSR level, including advanced new accounts experience.
- Consumer account opening experience required for higher-level positions.
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking systems.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and ability to work effectively in a branch team environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Business account opening experience preferred for advanced and senior-level roles.
- Experience with complex business accounts preferred for Senior CSR level.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and procedures preferred.
- Leadership, training, or mentoring experience is a plus.
