Construction Customer Service/Warehouse

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Construction Customer Service/Warehouse Associate, where you'll play a vital role in supporting construction projects through exceptional customer service and efficient warehouse operations. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with logistics, inventory management, and trade compliance, ensuring smooth project flow and satisfied clients. You'll be the key link between our supply chain and customer needs, contributing to successful project execution with a focus on accuracy, safety, and proactive communication. Responsibilities Assist customers by providing product information, order updates, and resolving inquiries promptly and professionally Manage warehouse and manufacturing inventory using advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms Place material orders with suppliers, use of 3rd party vendor portals Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, stock, and organize materials Prepare shipments by packing orders securely, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics standards Load/Unload material for onsite deliveries, use of Company Vehicle or Stakebed - Regulatory compliance of DOT and FMCSA standards Conduct order picking and packing with precision to meet delivery deadlines for construction supplies and materials Maintain accurate records of shipping & receiving activities, stock levels, and inventory transactions Support warehouse distribution and safety processes by coordinating stock movement and ensuring proper storage practices

Fleet Management:

Maintain Mileage Reports, Vehicle Maintenance and Inventory Work with City/County jurisdiction to pull work permits, schedule inspections Use of Printing Equipment and Engineering Plotter On site construction clean up Valid CA Drivers License - Enrollment of DMV EPN Program Lift up to 50lbs Misc. special projects to assist the Construction Department as needed Experience Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution, shipping logistics, and order fulfillment processes Hands-on experience operating forklifts Experience working with ERP systems for inventory management Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during stocking and order picking tasks Prior exposure to packaging standards for construction supplies Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management, order processing, and load/unload procedures Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Adobe High School Diploma or GED Superior Electric is an Electrical Contractor who operates across Federal, State and Private Sectors. $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
