In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your energetic approach will ensure a positive experience for every customer, guiding them through the service process with clarity and enthusiasm. You will coordinate between customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring that vehicle repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your automotive knowledge, sales skills, and passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Explain recommended services clearly, including auto diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, alignments, suspension work, and transmission repairs. Prepare detailed auto estimates using service writing software and communicate cost estimates transparently to customers. Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle inspection findings while ensuring customer satisfaction. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize service orders and ensure timely completion of repairs like diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts replacements, air brake adjustments, and auto body repairs. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all service activities and customer interactions. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business through excellent customer service. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive auto service management background. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with auto estimating software, service writing processes, and automotive repair terminology. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly to customers. Experience in upselling services such as tire service, alignment, shocks & struts, brake repair, oil changes, transmission work, suspension repairs, air brake systems, diesel engine repair, and auto body work. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Prior experience working with mechanic teams or in a service technician role is highly desirable.
