Public Safety Uniform Specialist Pay Rate:

$20.00 / hour About Us We are a premier, highly specialized uniform store with two locations in Rocklin and Elk Grove, proudly serving law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, and public safety personnel. We operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure, service-focused environment. To ensure a safe and highly functional workspace for our staff and specialized technical equipment, we strictly maintain a fragrance-free workplace.

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Public Safety Uniform Specialist to become an integral part of our growing team. This is a highly specialized position that requires extreme attention to detail and a commitment to precision. All team members are fully cross-trained across agency client service, store operations, and custom technical uniform production.

Please note:

This position is primarily based in Rocklin, CA, but requires the flexibility to work at our Elk Grove location on occasion. Position Overview The ideal candidate is professional, highly organized, and thrives under pressure. This is not a traditional "browse and wander" retail store. From the second an officer or first responder walks through our doors until the moment they leave, they are guided step-by-step by a Specialist. You will be responsible for providing total, hands-on guidance through our entire custom ordering process, managing complex uniform configurations to strict agency specifications with absolute precision.

As part of our cross-training program, candidates must be willing and capable of learning to operate our specialized production equipment, including: Commercial machine embroidery systems Industrial heat press equipment Precision engraving systems Industrial sewing machines

Responsibilities End-to-End Guided Service:

Greet every customer the moment they step inside and personally walk them through the entire ordering process from start to finish. We do not leave customers to navigate the floor alone.

Custom Fittings & Agency Compliance:

Identify their specific agency regulations, retrieve all merchandise for them, and execute precise uniform measurements and tactical fittings.

Technical Production:

Learn to operate embroidery, engraving, sewing, and heat press machinery to customize uniforms and gear to exact specifications.

Flawless Order Management:

Input complex, customized agency orders into our system with absolute technical accuracy. Attention to detail is critical there is zero room for administrative or production errors.

Client Communication:

Manage phone inquiries, professionally explain specialized services, and deliver precise, real-time tracking updates on custom orders.

Inventory Control:

Manage incoming supply shipments, verify order lists, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure precise item tagging.

Facility Maintenance:

Actively execute daily housekeeping routines to maintain an immaculate, safe showroom and workspace (including cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, emptying trash, and dusting).

Operational Agility:

Adapt dynamically to changing daily tasks, switching between technical production, store maintenance, and direct client support as required. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Proven capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, multi-tasking environment. Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of accuracy in data entry or hands-on tasks. Highly punctual, dependable, and reliable with a strict work ethic. Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation. Previous experience in sales, hospitality, high-end customer service, or hands-on production preferred. Professional appearance, courteous demeanor, and the ability to build immediate rapport with public safety professionals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Physical capacity to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, and the physical ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds.
