Respond to incoming calls with the utmost highest customer service. Dispatch mechanics to work sites as well as following up to insure job satisfaction.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, organize and facilitate jobs. Obtain customer information, equipment, repair details & payment information. Enter service request into computer & generate a Service Order. Assign technicians work duties for shop or field repairs. Maintain daily service dispatch schedule log. Track mechanics progress throughout the day. Transfer mechanics labor from mobile tablets to computer program. Monitor repair orders, their progress, and keep customers informed. Maintain daily labor postings. Work closely with Parts Department to track parts ordered for repairs. Communicate repair orders & work performed. Run monthly reports. Schedule monthly PM Services. Review completed repairs, forward to Supervisor for final review and then close. Process cash/credit customer payments. File customer repair documents. Assist Sales Department for preparing new, used & rental forklifts. Schedule the pick-up or delivery of units, post charges to appropriate accounts. Charge stock batteries monthly. Maintain & organize unit inventory & counts. Report necessary repairs needed on units. Trouble shoot jobs and equipment needed to complete jobs. Create and facilitate projects to completion including any related paperwork or service reports. Communicate plans and projects effectively to other employees, training them if necessary. Maintains the highest standards in regard to quality of workmanship.OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in special projects as needed. Answer telephone calls, complete service reports and maintain records. Provide daily progress updates to Branch Manager.KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
