Job Description

Job Summary A busy neurosurgery practice is seeking a professional, compassionate, and highly organized Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Spanish/English). This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients, managing high-volume communication and supporting front office operations to deliver outstanding patient care. Key Responsibilities Answer and manage high-volume incoming phone calls professionally and courteously. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Route messages accurately to physicians, medical assistants, and clinical staff. Verify patient demographic and insurance information. Assist Spanish-speaking patients with interpretation and communication needs. Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Document all patient communications accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Provide patients with general office and appointment details while supporting overall front-office operations.
Required Qualifications Language:
Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).
Skills:
Excellent phone etiquette, strong customer service, accurate data entry, and computer proficiency.
Core Competencies:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Attributes:
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare call center environment. Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Schedule & Work Environment Shift:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Environment:
On-site specialist clinic (Neurosurgery)
