Job Description
SUMMARY:
Guest Service Representatives are responsible for assisting Guests and Team members with transactions and for balancing various bank drawers within the Cash Cage Operations Department, maintaining accuracy throughout all phases of the balancing process, providing guests with new card sign ups and Promotions information.Essential Duties:
- Provides smooth, courteous, and efficient guest service in the execution of assigned duties including but not limited to greeting guests, attending to guests at the Cage area, assisting guests with club related issues.
- Issues free play to club members up to authorized limits.
- Accurately balances assigned bank(s).
- Cashes Slot Tickets into money for customers, in a courteous, timely manner.
- Maintains a working knowledge of promotions.
- Assists other Guest Service Reps within the Cash Cage, as needed.
- Completes MTL log for federal cash reporting requirements.
- Must learn, comprehend, and comply with all company policies and procedures, MICS, Gaming Regulations and Title 31 requirements.
- Attends department meetings.
- Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of cash & club transactions.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
- Maintains a clean working area and constantly stocks work areas.
- Resolves minor customer conflicts related to the department.
- Registers new guest into our Players Club membership and prints club cards when requested by guest.
- Assist customers when their accounts are locked out.
- Make and receive banks for other authorized departments keeping banks along with paperwork secured.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be at least 21 years of age, and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and customer service skills. Must demonstrate the ability to work with team management approach. Must be willing to work any shift and weekends. The ability to speak a second language is a plus. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED required. Must have basic computer, customer service skills & Cash Handling experience.LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, and small group situations, and internal/external customers.MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals and fractions. Ability to compute rate, ratio, & percentages.REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, OR REGISTRATIONS
- Gaming license issued by the Tribal Gaming Agency.
- Must have a valid California driver's license.
