Customer Service Specialist Rock-Ola Manufacturing Inc - 4.5 Torrance, CA Job Details Full-time $45,000 - $65,000 a year 4 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Teamwork ERP systems Attention to detail Patience Account management Full Job Description Rock-Ola, a nearly 100-year-old American jukebox manufacturer, is entering an exciting new phase of growth following recent investment. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join the team in a key operational role supporting both customers and internal departments. This position works closely with leadership, including direct collaboration with the CEO, and will play an important role in helping deliver a high standard of communication, organisation, and customer experience across the business. Our business is unique. Many customer orders involve extended lead times, custom production schedules, and international coordination. Success in this role requires someone who takes genuine ownership of customer experience from start to finish, proactively managing communication, understanding operational dependencies, and ensuring customers are consistently kept informed with accurate and timely updates. We are looking for someone calm under pressure, highly organised, solutions-focused, and comfortable navigating complex situations with professionalism and accountability. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, production timelines, shipping updates, and general enquiries
  • Take full ownership of customer issues and ensure they are managed through to resolution
  • Proactively communicate updates and manage expectations throughout the customer journey
  • Coordinate closely with production, logistics, leadership, and other internal teams to ensure accurate and consistent information
  • Identify potential delays or issues early and help drive solutions internally
  • Support leadership with high-priority customer communications and operational follow-up
  • Maintain clear records and ensure systems are updated accurately What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in customer service, operations, account management, or order coordination
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and confidence with customers
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and process-driven
  • A calm, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
  • Someone who naturally takes responsibility and ownership rather than waiting for problems to escalate
  • Experience using operational or customer management systems such as MRPeasy, Shopify, ERP, CRM, or order management platforms would be highly beneficial Rock-Ola offers a hardworking, collaborative, and engaging environment with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

Pay:
$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
