This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse distribution, shipping, and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting order fulfillment and inventory accuracy for e-commerce and retail operations. Duties Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments using scanners and warehouse management systems Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks Stock shelves and organize inventory accurately for easy retrieval and order picking Prepare items for shipment through picking, packing, and labeling according to order specifications Utilize Finale to track inventory levels and update records Assist with order fulfillment processes, including picking & packing orders for dispatch Maintain safety standards during all warehouse activities, including proper use of equipment Support shipping & receiving operations by coordinating with carriers and internal departments Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit and storage Answer phone calls in spare time Respond to customer emails and voicemails in a timely manner Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields preferred Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400, or similar MRP systems Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order accuracy Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and verifying quantities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Knowledge of e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods during shifts This position plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations through accurate receiving, stocking, and order processing.
