Paid Sick Leave Paid Holidays Health Insurance Job Description As a Senior Import Logistics Operations , you will plan, direct, and coordinate distribution, forecasting, and customer service for the Logistics Department. You manage logistics personnel, logistics systems and direct daily operations for the company. In addition, you are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of your team. Tasks Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping. Supervise the work of logistics specialists, planners, or schedulers. Develop and implement organizational processes, projects, or services. Direct distribution operations to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues. Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management. Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements. Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery. Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes. Qualifications/Requirements Bilingual English and Chinese Language
REQUIRED
High School degree required 4 years of college preferred 1-2 years of NVOCC experience required Minimum 3 years of Logistics Operations experience required Administration and Management experience preferred Customer Service experience required Skills and Abilities Required Reading Comprehension Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Troubleshooting Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. Management of Personnel Resources Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job. Databases Using a computer application to manage large amounts of information, including creating and editing simple databases, inputting data, retrieving specific records, and creating reports to communicate the information. Spreadsheets Using a computer application to enter, manipulate, and format text and numerical data; insert, delete, and manipulate cells, rows, and columns; and create and save worksheets, charts, and graphs. Technology Materials requirements planning logistics and supply chain software Data base user interface and query software Electronic mail software Spreadsheet software Calendar and scheduling software
