The Opportunity At Alera Group, our Employee Benefits team helps organizations attract, retain, and support their employees through innovative benefits solutions. As a Bilingual Health Insurance Agent , you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional client service, building trusted relationships, and helping clients navigate the complexities of employee benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients both in person and over the phone Educate individuals on health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance products Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate coverage solutions Enroll new clients into insurance plans and assist with application completion Support existing clients with questions regarding coverage, billing issues, access to care, and benefits administration Navigate multiple systems and applications while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Maintain compliance with carrier, regulatory, and organizational requirements Participate in training programs, coaching, and development activities to strengthen product knowledge and sales effectiveness Meet and exceed individual sales and performance goals Build long-term client relationships through proactive communication and service
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications Fluent in both English and Vietnamese Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to build trust and establish relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds Comfortable working in a sales-driven environment with performance goals Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to navigate multiple software systems and business applications Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture Licensure Active Health & Life Insurance License preferred Candidates without a license are encouraged to apply Ability to obtain and maintain required insurance licensing after hire Willingness to complete licensing and training requirements within established timelines Preferred Qualifications Prior insurance sales, healthcare, retail sales, customer service, or call center experience Experience working with Medicare, Individual Health, ACA Marketplace, or supplemental insurance products Experience educating consumers on complex products or services Demonstrated success meeting sales, retention, or performance goals Experience working in a bilingual client-facing environment Knowledge of healthcare coverage and insurance enrollment processes
Compensation Salary Range:
