Responsibilities Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, enhancing their shopping experience. Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized store layouts to ensure products are easily accessible. Upsell additional products or services to meet customer needs and increase sales opportunities. Handle cash drawer operations with precision, including cash handling, balancing registers, and reconciling daily sales. Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support supervising staff in training new team members and overseeing daily store operations when needed. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; familiarity with POS systems is highly advantageous. Supervising experience in a retail environment is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills. Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Knowledge of retail math for calculating totals, discounts, and change accurately is essential. Experience in product demonstrations, upselling techniques, and merchandising will help drive sales success. Ability to handle cash register operations confidently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and cash drawer management. Prior customer service experience that highlights excellent phone etiquette and problem-solving abilities will set candidates apart.
