Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Writer. As a Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for career growth.

Duties:

Greet customers and assist them in scheduling appointments for vehicle maintenance and repairs Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues Provide accurate estimates for automotive repairs and services Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs or services needed Handle cash transactions, including collecting payments from customers Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, repairs, and services performed Assist in maintaining inventory of automotive parts and supplies

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Service Writer or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using computer systems and software for recordkeeping purposes Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem-solving skills Shopware CRM experience a plus
