Job Description
Description Patient Service Representative We are looking for a compassionate Patient Service Representative to support existing patients with medical supply orders in Centennial, Colorado. This contract to hire opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, communicates with empathy, and can stay organized in a fast-paced phone-based environment. In this role, you will guide patients through routine order requests, resolve issues that may delay fulfillment, and maintain accurate documentation while managing a steady volume of inbound and outbound calls.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a daily workload of approximately 40 to 50 inbound and outbound calls while providing attentive, thorough service to existing patients.
- Assist patients with placing medical supply orders, updating recurring requests, and handling exchanges, returns, or order adjustments within established order cycles.
- Review accounts with delayed or held orders, investigate missing information, and coordinate with internal partners to help move orders forward.
- Enter and update order details accurately in company systems to ensure complete and reliable patient records.
- Communicate with patients of all ages and backgrounds with patience, sensitivity, and a solutions-focused approach.
- Use multiple applications during live calls to verify order information, ask required questions, and complete documentation efficiently.
- Address more complex service concerns thoroughly, taking ownership of issues and working toward timely resolution rather than redirecting the patient unnecessarily. Requirements
- At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume phone support or order processing environment.
- Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls confidently while delivering a positive and empathetic patient experience.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to speak with customers, review account details, and complete data entry at the same time.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when entering orders and updating account information.
- Comfortable discussing medical supplies and related patient needs in a detail-focused and respectful manner.
- Willingness to work in a performance-driven setting that includes quality assurance measurements.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus, and prior healthcare or medical supply experience is helpful but not required.
