In-Office Position Overview The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in supporting agency growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This position is responsible for assisting agency sales initiatives across all insurance lines (auto, home, life, and Farm/Ranch) by providing quotes, following up on previously submitted quotes, and delivering outstanding service to existing and prospective clients. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others protect their assets. Sales Support Assist agents in achieving sales goals by preparing and providing accurate insurance quotes for prospective and existing customers. Follow up on quotes previously provided to customers to answer questions, gather additional information, and support the sales process. Present and explain insurance products and coverage options to clients, helping them understand available coverage choices and benefits. Identify opportunities for additional insurance solutions and refer qualified prospects to licensed agents for further discussion and closing. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, quote activity, and follow-up efforts within agency management systems. Customer Service Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Assist clients with policy changes, billing inquiries, claims support, and general account maintenance. Resolve customer concerns and issues efficiently, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in agency management systems. Operational Support Process applications, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in accordance with company guidelines. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Support agency owner with administrative tasks, reporting, and special projects as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Property, Casualty Insurance Licenses:
Required upon hire Prior experience in sales, customer service, or insurance is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with computers and office software (Microsoft Office, email, policy management systems).
