Position Summary ToolTuff Direct is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Golden, Colorado. This position is much more than traditional customer service. The Customer Service Specialist will serve as an important link between our customers and our internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Warehouse, and Shipping. The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of our products and applications and use that knowledge to provide customers with accurate, timely, and professional support. This may include assisting customers with product selection, order placement, equipment applications, installation questions, troubleshooting, order tracking, and warranty or technical issues. The position also plays an important role in identifying recurring customer issues and communicating those insights internally to help improve products, product listings, processes, and the overall customer experience. This is an interactive, cross-functional position for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new products, working with people, and taking ownership of customer issues from initial contact through resolution. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Support Serve as a primary point of contact for retail, commercial, dealer, and e-commerce customers. Respond professionally and promptly to customer inquiries by telephone, email, and online messaging platforms. Manage customer inquiries and communications through Amazon, eBay, and other sales channels. Assist customers with product selection, applications, order placement, and general product questions. Provide basic technical and product support, including troubleshooting and product application guidance. Escalate complex technical matters to Engineering or other appropriate internal resources. Order & Account Support Assist customers with placing orders and obtaining product information. Track customer orders and provide timely status updates. Coordinate local customer pickup orders. Work with the Warehouse and Shipping teams to locate orders and resolve fulfillment or delivery issues. Assist with special orders and unique customer requirements. Document customer interactions, issues, resolutions, and follow-up activities within company systems. Product & Technical Support Develop a working knowledge of ToolTuff Direct products, applications, specifications, and installation requirements. Assist customers with equipment compatibility and implement applications. Troubleshoot basic mechanical and product-related issues. Work with Engineering and Product teams to resolve technical questions. Identify recurring product issues and communicate trends to management and appropriate departments. E-Commerce & Marketing Support Monitor customer feedback and identify issues affecting product listings, descriptions, specifications, images, or product information. Work directly with Marketing to improve product listings and customer-facing content. Provide customer feedback and marketplace insights to support product and marketing improvements. Help identify opportunities to improve the online customer experience. Continuous Improvement Identify recurring customer service, shipping, product, and process issues. Assist management in analyzing customer-service data and identifying trends. Recommend practical solutions to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Support cross-functional initiatives designed to improve products, processes, and service levels. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new software systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn technical product information. Ability to work professionally with customers and employees at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Previous customer service or customer support experience. Experience supporting agricultural, outdoor power equipment, tractors, implements, tools, or related products. Experience in e-commerce, product support, sales, or marketing. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Gmail and Google Drive. Experience with Oracle NetSuite. Experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or eBay. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud. Technical education, certifications, or additional training. Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, retail, or e-commerce environment.
