Brookfield, CT 06804 Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Marina Service Advisor to join our team in Brookfield, CT. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking maintenance, repair, and service for their boats and marine equipment. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of marine products and services, and the ability to coordinate service operations efficiently. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and assess their service needs related to boats, engines, and marine accessories. Provide accurate estimates and explain service options to customers. Schedule and coordinate service appointments with technicians and service staff. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and follow-ups. Communicate effectively with customers regarding service status, delays, and completion. Assist in ordering parts and supplies necessary for service jobs. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly. Stay informed about new marine products, technologies, and service techniques. Collaborate with sales and service teams to promote additional services and products. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in marine technology preferred. Previous experience in a marina, marine service, or related customer service role is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of marine engines, boat maintenance, and repair processes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with computer systems and service management software. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Work Environment This position is based at our marina facility in Brookfield, CT. The role involves both office work and outdoor activities around boats and docks. Candidates should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and have a hands-on approach to customer service.
