Job Description
Quality Propane is seeking to hire a reliable, dedicated CSR at our Clinton, CT location. As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Quality Propane, your main job responsibility is to see that each customer receives outstanding service in all of their dealings with Quality Propane. As a frontline employee, it is the customer's interaction with you that will form their opinion of Quality Propane.

Hourly Core Job Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Answer the telephone professionally and timely Accurately take propane delivery orders based on company policies (Examples - prepay, minimum delivery, etc.) Accurately take and process customer payments Become an advocate to potential customers that are interested in Quality Propane Guide and advise potential customers through the scheduling, installation and delivery process Schedule and organize tank installations, service appointments, posts fuel deliveries, create proposals and work with Municipalities to obtain permits if needed Enter customer data into the computer system for new customer set up Monitor the collection process if assigned to you by your manager Monitor the Budget customer accounts if assigned by your manager Have a positive can do attitude Assist fellow teammates should they require help to stay on schedule Keep your work area and your personal appearance neat, clean, and looking professional Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Required The skills, knowledge, and abilities required for this job include, but are not limited to, the following: Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to do simple math with a calculator to calculate taxes, mileage, gallons, percentages, etc. Ability to work efficiently in a busy office Ability to effectively communicate both face to face and also on the telephone in a polite and professional manner
• Ability to de-escalate customer concerns, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and exhibit an excellent telephone demeanor
