Values Family, Dependability, Inclusion, Curiosity, Humility Your Role Customer Service Representatives play a critical role in the success of our business as the first line of contact to our customers. The target is to ensure customer service excellence. This role may also support Operations in the warehouse in helping back up team members for pulling orders and loading materials. Duties and Responsibilities Answers phone calls Maintains branch or region order email inbox Provides product knowledge Builds sales, enters orders Ensures orders are filled for pick up or scheduled for delivery and payments received if required. Looks up inventory Quotes customers Provides support to Branch Staff for either one or multiple locations, depending on size and scope. Communicates with the sales team and management of selling trends and customer satisfaction. Provides support to customers and sales team in region or assigned to local branch May help back up warehouse associates by assignment when short staffed or when a surge in orders occurs. Performs all other duties as assigned. Minimum Job Qualifications 2 Years of Customer Service Experience preferred Previous experience working a warehouse a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, and Outlook Work Conditions Mainly inside, possibly in the warehouse or outside for short periods of time Standing and sitting at desk while working on computer Operating a forklift as a backup (after being properly trained) Lifting capabilities 40 lbs. Directly with customers Around warehouse equipment and vehicles Safety Responsibility This position assumes responsibility for the workplace safety of self and co-workers, and for the safety conditions of the work location, exercises and promotes safe behaviors and shows unyielding support of programs, rules, and policies regarding safety.
