Job Description
Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Customer Service Representative positions in Middletown, CT. Responsibilities:
- Perform procurement activities to ensure customer demand for stock and non-stock products is met while following purchasing strategies and inventory management processes.
- Review and approve inventory forecasts, replenishment recommendations, and purchase orders using ERP and inventory management systems.
- Communicate with vendors and customers regarding order status, delivery timelines, product quality concerns, and procurement-related issues.
- Maintain supplier relationships, identify cost-saving opportunities, support KPI reporting, and follow all customer and Vallen standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, customer service, or supply chain experience preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office and the ability to learn ERP and inventory management systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills with excellent attention to detail.
