Location Various Full/Part Time Full-Time Exempt from Classified Service No Minimum Rate 39930.27 Min Pay Frequency Yearly Maximum Rate 65798.96 Max Pay Frequency Yearly Regular/Temporary Regular Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. One year of advanced clerical experience to include public contact, customer service, cash management, and/or data entry is required. Must be able to work all shifts, all rotating schedules and weekends. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. Completion of college coursework may substitute for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis. Recruitment Notes This position performs advanced clerical, customer service, and cash handling duties in support of shelter operations. The incumbent is responsible for performing computer-based tasks, providing customer support, processing payments, and operating accurately in a fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities include assisting customers and internal staff with adoptions, redemptions, pet licensing, microchipping, spay/neuter appointments, animal ownership inquiries, and other animal related services. The position is responsible for accurately processing transactions, maintaining records and reports, responding to customer's inquiries in person, by telephone, and electronically, and providing a high level of customer service while resolving concerns effectively. The position requires the incumbent to assist with the handling of customer and shelter animals. Employees in this classification may be assigned to various Animal Services locations and are required to carry out duties involving public interaction, coordination with staff, collaboration with rescue partners, and engagement with other stakeholders.
