  • Must be available for weekends, holidays, and flexible scheduling Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Communication skills Multitasking skills and attention to detail Work under pressure while maintaining professionalism Customer service experience preferred Law Enforcement or Military experience preferred Credentials Have and maintain a Class D Security Officer License Have and maintain aTransportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) We are currently offering a FREE Class D Security Officer Licensing Course to qualified part-time candidates.
Must possess either:
A valid, activeTWIC card,OR A valid official TWIC receipt showing your application has been submitted NOT be eligible to attend the D-Licensing course without proof of a TWIC card or TWIC receipt. Applicants are responsible for obtaining their own TWIC credential.
Responsibilities:
Operating effectively in a fast-paced terminal environment Following written procedures and supervisor direction Communicating clearly in person and via portable radios Inspecting and verifying TWIC cards, driver licenses, passports, and company IDs Performing access control duties per post orders Monitoring doors, gates, and fencing for security compliance Identifying hazards and reporting incidents Writing detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports Delivering professional, high-level customer service to passengers, crew members, vendors, and terminal employees Safeguarding Sensitive Security Information (SSI) Maintaining accurate timekeeping records Attending required training sessions Physical Requirements Sit or stand for extended periods (8+ hours) Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Frequent walking within terminal areas Regularly lift up to 20 lbs Visually inspect identification and surveillance monitors Clear verbal communication via phone and two-way radio Additional Requirements State and federal background checks Pre-employment drug screening Employer has attendance standards Flexible availability including weekends and holidays Saturdays and Sundays are require Employment cannot move forward without compliance with both TWIC and Class D licensing requirements. Pay Structure & Credential Advancement We offer a clear advancement pathway based on credential status:
Pay:
$17.00
  • $18.65 per hour $17.00 per hour
  • Customer Service Officer
  • For individuals who do not yet have both active credentials $18.65 per hour
  • Credentialed Security Officer Once the employee obtains and maintains both: Active TWIC Active Class D Security License Upon verification of both active credentials, the employees role will be formally reclassified to Credentialed Security Officer with the adjusted pay rate.
