Overview Are you calm under pressure, naturally organized, extremely attentive to detail, and someone who genuinely loves both animals and people ? Pawsitive Tribe Holistic Grooming is a mindful, God-centered pet care spa built around kindness, safety, integrity, and exceptional care. We're growing and looking for a dependable, resourceful person to join our team as our Pet Spa Operations & Client Care Coordinator . This is not a traditional receptionist position. You'll be an important part of keeping the entire spa running smoothly throughout the day, from welcoming clients and coordinating appointments to caring for pets, supporting our groomers, maintaining our environment, and making sure our safety and operational procedures are followed consistently. We're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done. You'll notice things, communicate them, take initiative, and help create an experience where every pet and every client feels genuinely cared for. What You'll Do Open and close the spa while carefully following our opening, closing, safety, and security procedures Warmly welcome clients and their pets and provide an exceptional customer experience from check-in through pickup Check in grooming, daycare, and overnight guests and communicate important information to the team Answer calls and messages, assist clients, and manage appointments and scheduling Coordinate the daily grooming schedule and help keep groomers and appointments running smoothly Create personalized report cards for our daycare and overnight guests Feed, walk, supervise, play with, and provide basic care to pets staying with us Monitor pets closely and always prioritize their safety and well-being Keep the spa clean, organized, sanitized, stocked, and prepared throughout the day and for the following day Double-check completed services and help ensure our quality standards are met before pets go home Build genuine relationships with our clients, learn their pets' names and preferences, and help them feel comfortable communicating feedback Capture high-quality photos and videos of our guests for report cards and social media Communicate clearly with the owner and team about anything happening in the store, especially concerns, incidents, client feedback, or anything requiring attention Follow established SOPs consistently, even during busy periods Look for what needs to be done and take initiative without waiting for constant direction This Role Is For You If You Are fluent in English and Spanish Are highly dependable and take being on time and present seriously Have exceptional attention to detail Are resourceful and naturally look for solutions Take initiative without needing constant reminders Can comfortably manage several responsibilities at once Communicate professionally, warmly, and confidently with customers Are comfortable handling dogs and cats of different breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels Understand that working with animals means cleaning up pee, poop, hair, water, food, and occasional messes Can follow procedures exactly, especially when they involve pet safety and facility security Are comfortable receiving feedback and implementing it Take ownership when something goes wrong instead of making excuses Want to learn, improve, and potentially grow into greater responsibility Align with our values of kindness, mindfulness, integrity, safety, and excellence This Role Is Probably Not For You If You This position may not be the right fit if you prefer a traditional front desk role where you primarily sit, answer phones, and check customers in. It also won't be a good fit if you need frequent reminders to complete responsibilities, struggle with attention to detail, dislike cleaning or hands-on pet care, have difficulty following established procedures consistently, or prefer a slower environment with only one responsibility at a time. This is a hands-on operations role. Some moments are peaceful and quiet, while others require you to quickly switch between customers, pets, groomers, phones, cleaning, scheduling, and unexpected situations while remaining calm and attentive. Employee discount Application Question(s): Working at Pawsitive Tribe Holistic Grooming involves not only greeting clients and pets, but also handling tasks like cleaning up after pets, including picking up pee and poop. Can you describe how you feel about performing these duties as part of your job, and how you manage such tasks while maintaining a positive attitude? Do you have experience in customer service, pet care, or a similar field? (If not, are you willing to learn and develop these skills with the right training and guidance?) Are you comfortable handling pets of all sizes and temperaments, including cleaning up after them (e.g., picking up pee and poop)? Are you someone who can work independently, manage your tasks, and take initiative without constant supervision? Are you looking for a long-term position and committed to growing with our team? This position requires working a consistent schedule of 2-3 full days per week, 10-hour shifts, from 8am to 6pm (Monday to Saturday). Are you able to commit to this schedule long-term?
