Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Outside Grounds team member to maintain and enhance the appearance, safety, and functionality of our outdoor facilities. This role involves hands-on outdoor work, ensuring the grounds are well-kept, safe, and operationally efficient. The ideal candidate will have outdoor work experience, a background in hospitality, and a strong commitment to safety protocol adherence. This position offers an engaging environment where attention to detail and proactive maintenance are essential. Duties Conduct daily outdoor cleaning tasks including washing aircraft and vehicles, cleaning windows, and maintaining the laundry room. Perform routine maintenance of outdoor grounds, including landscaping, trimming, and cleaning to ensure a tidy appearance. Check and replace wind flags as needed. Monitor and maintain air filters, restock restroom supplies, and address minor repairs like fixing toilets or restocking water coolers. Manage trash disposal by emptying trash cans before opening and during shift. Assist with skydiving operations by learning skydiving knowledge, recognizing issues in the sky, picking up skydivers, making radio calls, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. Perform vehicle maintenance including checking oil and fuel levels on ground vehicles. Maintain hangars and buildings through cleaning and upkeep activities. Experience Prior outdoor work experience is required to handle various maintenance tasks efficiently. Experience in hospitality is preferred to ensure excellent customer service and facility management. Familiarity with safety protocols is essential for maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors alike.
