!! Must be 18 or older We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions, assist with product inquiries, and contribute to the overall success of our retail environment. We offer alternative schedules for those who wish to get more hours in less days and we give performance based raises after the first 6-months. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling procedures. Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves as needed. Assist in inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting inventory counts. Address customer inquiries professionally over the phone and in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Cleaning Food prep and cooking Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment. Proficiency in basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math applications. Experience with cashiering duties in a retail or grocery store setting. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members, both verbally and in writing. Bilingual abilities are highly valued, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Knowledge of merchandising techniques to effectively display products. Familiarity with retail sales strategies to drive business success.
