In this energetic role, you will serve as the vital link between our valued clients and our skilled technicians, ensuring vehicle repairs and maintenance are handled efficiently and transparently. Your ability to communicate clearly, upsell services confidently, and manage service processes will help keep our customers happy and our shop running smoothly. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs to facilitate efficient service delivery Explain repair recommendations clearly, using automotive diagnostics and estimating software to provide transparent estimates Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire service, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repair to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services Manage service writing tasks including creating detailed work orders and updating clients on vehicle status throughout the process Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professional client communication at all times Utilize computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools for collision repair assessments and ensure precise documentation of repairs performed Qualifications Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in auto service management within a dealership or automotive repair shop Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience preferred; familiarity with automotive diagnostics essential Proficiency in estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and confidently Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including oil changes, tire service, alignments, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership profitability Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive various vehicles safely Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism during client interactions This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to leverage their automotive expertise in a lively environment that values energetic communication and proactive problem-solving.
