We are an accredited company with well known experience in individually "adapted to fit" wheelchairs. Our sales territory covers most of Florida from Gainesville
  • south into Miami.
Our clients' ages range from infants to adults. The Largo facility is the main point for all orders for sales and servicing of equipment. The company also sells wheelchair accessible vehicles. We have a rewarding, full-time customer service position available. This position helps our clients begin the involved process of obtaining medical equipment. Our Customer Service Department takes calls regarding requests for wheelchairs and equipment evaluations. Must be detail oriented, have basic computer experience, business phone skills etc. Must have work history of direct customer service experience, " medical intake" experience with knowledge of third party funding. Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, VA and Insurance is helpful to learn and grow in this position. Ins verification experience necessary. History of working with staff in doctors' offices is helpful in order to obtain the required documentation to proceed with an order. Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience is beneficial in learning this position. Responsibilities in Customer Service Department include: Taking calls from clients and confirming current information or creating new clients files. Making calls to clients or referral sources to schedule appointments. Following an intake format to make sure all relevant information is gathered at the time of the call. Accurate data entry of client information, appointment dates and related notes etc. Requesting prescriptions for clients' equipment evaluations. Coverage verifications for Medicare, Medicaid and Insurances etc. Position is 8 a.m.
