Operations Manager This position serves as the communication hub between Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Office Staff, and Field Crews to ensure every customer receives an exceptional moving experience. The Dispatch Coordinator proactively solves problems, keeps crews productive, supports the sales team, oversees warehouse scheduling, and ensures every job is prepared before it begins. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as the main point of contact for customers and the office (Bookkeeper and Operations Manager) for all jobs, clearly communicating any changes, delays, or concerns that may occur. Manages the delivery or moving schedule for the day; plans or adjusts routes based on changing conditions, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption. Ensures everyone on the team is performing all tasks; including cleaning, gathering materials, and maintaining truck organization. Maintains charge of electronic devices such as the cell phone and the tablet each day. Breaks down empty boxes, and folds blankets.

QUALIFICATIONS

- At least 6 months or more of related experience required. Familiar with the National Association Senior Move Management practices and requirements. Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret road maps, navigational systems financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and dispatch. Ability to effectively present information to management. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, customers, staff, vendors, etc. Mathematical Skills
- Ability to apply basic math concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, percentages, and proportions to practical situations such as ensuring accurate cash handling with clients, and in reviewing billing. Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity, record keeping and routine database activity to effectively use the Client Relationship Management Platform. Availability

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the individual sometimes remains in a stationary position while operating a truck. They constantly move and place furniture and moving materials. The individual needs to constantly move about on client sites to transport house furniture, safes, moving materials, and other necessary items to complete the work orders. This person occasionally works with teammates to move refrigerators. The individual occasionally positions self to assemble certain household furniture items such as a chest of drawers and will sometimes traverse platforms and ascend/descend from a truck and/or steps. They must be able to exchange accurate information with other individuals. Must be able to detect mechanical issues and part defects from short distances to determine what action needs to be taken. They must constantly move a minimum of 50 pounds individually, and sometimes move a maximum of 100 pounds plus, together or with 2+ people with the proper moving equipment. These weight bearing items include nightstands, sofas, patio furniture and drawers. The person must be capable of transporting and loading different parts, tools, materials and furniture required to do the job.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is often exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat. This person is sometimes exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. This person is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and working in high precarious places such as the upper platform section of the box truck. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Due to working with heavy material items, employees are required to wear personal protective equipment such as close toe shoes. During warmer months, the required personal protective equipment may cause the employee to be very warm while working.
