Job Description

Sarpoolaki Insurance Center is a growing independent insurance agency in Palm Bay, FL seeking a motivated and professional Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. We are looking for someone who is more than just a policy processor. This position plays an important role in client retention, policy servicing, remarketing, and cross-selling opportunities within the agency. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced office environment while delivering excellent client service. Insurance experience is highly preferred, but an active 4-40 license is not required at the time of hire. We are willing to help the right candidate obtain their Florida 4-40 CSR license. ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Policy Servicing Handle inbound calls, emails, and customer service requests Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, billing questions, cancellations, and reinstatements Maintain accurate client records and documentation Follow up on pending service requests in a timely manner Retention & Remarketing Review renewals for premium increases and coverage concerns Requote and remarket policies when needed Contact clients proactively regarding renewals and policy options Help retain existing clients and reduce cancellations Cross-Selling & Account Rounding Identify opportunities to bundle home, auto, flood, umbrella, and other coverages Recommend additional coverage options to better protect clients Support agency growth through account rounding and referrals Team Support Support Personal Lines and General Lines Agents with daily servicing needs Communicate with insurance carriers regarding policy updates and underwriting questions Work collaboratively with team members to improve office efficiency and client experience QualificationsPreferred Qualifications Insurance agency experience strongly preferred Previous customer service experience required Active Florida 4-40 CSR License preferred but not required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional phone etiquette and attention to detail Computer proficiency and willingness to learn agency systems Additional Information Candidates do not need to already hold a 4-40 license when starting Sarpoolaki Insurance Center will assist the right candidate with obtaining their Florida insurance license Candidates with strong customer service backgrounds and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply CompensationStarting Pay $3,000 per month during 90-day probationary period Approximately $17.30/hour equivalent After 90-Day Probation $3,500 per month Approximately $20.20/hour equivalent Additional Opportunities Performance-based bonus opportunities may be available based on: Cross-selling Retention Team performance Agency growth support Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off Growth opportunities within the agency Ongoing training and insurance education Stable, team-oriented work environment About Us Sarpoolaki Insurance Center is an independent insurance agency serving clients throughout Florida.
