Job Description
Magnolia Pharmacy is seeking someone special. Must love people, have an interest in health and wellness, enjoy being creative, and appreciate a good supplement aisle. Bonus points if you can't walk past a crooked display without fixing it. At Magnolia Pharmacy, we're more than a place to pick up prescriptions. We're an independent community pharmacy focused on helping our patients feel their best through personalized care, wellness products, supplements, and services you won't find in a typical chain pharmacy. We're looking for someone special to Create a warm, welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors Check patients out accurately and provide exceptional customer service Learn about our supplements, skincare, wellness products, and pharmacy services Help patients find products and answer questions about products you've been trained on Know when it's time to bring the pharmacist into the conversation Create and refresh product, seasonal, and educational displays Keep the front end stocked, clean, inviting, and easy to shop Monitor inventory and help order front-end products Receive merchandise, put it away, and monitor expiration dates Help us discover new products our patients might love Bag completed prescriptions and keep our will-call area organized Pitch in wherever is needed to help the pharmacy run smoothly We Might Be a Great Match If You… Genuinely enjoy people. Great customer service isn't something you turn on when the boss is watching. Have an interest in health and wellness. You don't have to be an expert, but you should be excited to become knowledgeable. Have a creative side. You notice when a display could look better and enjoy coming up with new ideas. Take initiative. If the register is quiet, you don't need someone to find your next task for you. Are dependable. When you say you'll be there, your team can count on you. Are trustworthy. You'll be handling money, prescriptions, patient information, and inventory. Pay attention to the details. You notice the empty spot on the shelf, the product in the wrong place, or the mailer that still needs to go out. Follow through. Starting a task is great; finishing it matters. Like taking ownership. We want someone who eventually looks at the front end and thinks, "This is my area, and I want it to look great and run well." Bring ideas. We're a small independent business. If you see something we could do better, we want to hear it. You don't need pharmacy experience, and you don't need to walk in knowing everything about supplements. We'll train you on our products, systems, pharmacy workflow, and how we approach customer service at Magnolia. As your knowledge grows, so will your ability to take ownership of the position. Previous experience in customer service, specialty retail, wellness, supplements, skincare, merchandising, a medical office, boutique retail, or a similar environment is a plus—but who you are and how you work matter more to us than having the perfect résumé. What You Can Expect From Us Magnolia is a locally owned pharmacy, which means you're not joining a huge corporation where you're just another employee number. We want to know what you're good at, hear your ideas, teach you new things, and give you room to make the position your own. We care deeply about our patients, but we also want Magnolia to be a place where people enjoy coming to work, work together, take pride in what they do, and feel like their contribution matters.
