Boulevard Animal Hospital is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team! We are a privately owned small-animal veterinary hospital dedicated to providing compassionate care to our patients and personalized service to our clients. We are looking for someone who understands that the front desk is more than just answering phones — it is the heart of our hospital and the first impression our clients receive. What You'll Do Greet clients and their pets warmly and professionally. Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to client questions. Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient information. Manage appointment scheduling and help keep the daily schedule running smoothly. Process payments, invoices, and prescription requests. Communicate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians regarding patient needs and client concerns. Assist with medical record management, client follow-ups, and appointment reminders. Explain hospital policies, estimates, and payment expectations professionally. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Help ensure clients and patients receive a positive experience from the moment they contact our hospital. What We're Looking For Excellent customer service and communication skills. A friendly, professional, and compassionate attitude. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment. Comfort handling difficult conversations with clients while remaining respectful and professional. Ability to work well with a team and take direction from management. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn veterinary software. (Previous knowledge of AVImark is a plus!) A genuine love for animals and an understanding of the importance of quality patient care. Veterinary reception or customer service experience is preferred. Veterinary experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to our team.
