through December Onsite in Tampa FL Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Bilingual Customer Support to support daily optical lab and order operations. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, order entry, inventory handling, and optical lab support. Approximately 30% of the day will involve answering calls, entering orders, and assisting with customer/vendor inquiries, while the remaining 70% will focus on handling trays and orders within the lab, receiving, sorting, and distributing optical products and materials. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are required , as a significant portion of incoming calls are in Spanish. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and assist customers, patients, and vendors with questions regarding orders. Enter and process lens and frame orders accurately. Communicate order delays, backorders, and other issues and help resolve problems. Receive, unpack, sort, and distribute incoming frames, lenses, trays, and other optical products. Handle and organize orders moving through the optical lab. Pull lenses and distribute trays to the appropriate areas. Inspect products for quality and cosmetic issues and restock as needed. Assist with shipping and receiving, including time-sensitive shipments. Monitor orders for delays or backorders and follow up as needed. Assist with inventory control and stocking of lenses and lab supplies. Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies and consumable materials. Help keep work moving efficiently through the department. Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Follow established quality, safety, and operational procedures. Work cooperatively with other departments and assist with additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Previous optical, laboratory, order processing, warehouse, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred. 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow established procedures and meet productivity and quality standards. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to recognize and distinguish colors. Ability to bend, kneel, pull, push, and perform other physical tasks as needed. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time, potentially up to the full workday. Work Environment This is an active, hands-on work environment where employees may spend extended periods standing and moving throughout the department. The role may involve working near optical lab equipment, including equipment that can produce some noise and dust. Safety equipment such as goggles and gloves may be required in certain work areas. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable speaking with customers in both English and Spanish, and able to balance phone/order responsibilities with hands-on lab and inventory work. 1039245 #
