We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and outgoing animal lover to join our customer care team and provide exceptional service to our wonderful clients and their pets. This is a full-time, in-person position , Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:30 AM-5:00 PM . The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting , including both telephone and in-person client interactions. Veterinary experience is required. This position plays an important role in keeping our front desk operations organized and running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

Greet clients warmly and manage appointment scheduling using veterinary software, ensuring efficient flow of daily operations Handle client inquiries with clear, compassionate communication about pet health, treatments, and clinic policies Provide front desk support including managing phone calls, scheduling appointments and surgeries or critical care appointments, and updating client records Assist with medical collections and billing procedures accurately while maintaining confidentiality in accordance veterinary regulations Support the veterinary team with animal restraint, kennel management, and basic animal husbandry to ensure safe handling during examinations and procedures Prepare exam rooms for appointments Creating new client and patient accounts Preparing and maintaining medical records Filling select prescriptions Assisting with over-the-counter product sales Preparing mailings and other client communications Operating computer and veterinary practice management systems Processing financial transactions Maintaining a clean, welcoming reception area A professional appearance, positive attitude, good manners, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and who has a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional, above-and-beyond customer service . Building lasting relationships with both new and established clients, as well as working collaboratively with fellow team members, is an important part of this role.
