Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise Understanding of revenue cycle process, from patient data entry to financial services, and laboratory front end processes.  Analytical reasoning  Strong communication skills  Competent grammatical and mathematical skills  Microsoft Office proficiency Position Requirements (Education, Experience, Licensure/Certifications)  High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's Degree or Bachelor's preferred, or combination of experience with education  Two or more years of Accounts Receivable experience  Healthcare of Laboratory support experience or education preferred Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities 1. Interacts with physicians, employees and clients in a positive manner consistent with the mission and values of Bako Diagnostics. 2. Identify missing/incomplete patient/insurance demographic, and specimen related information through reporting tools and software 3. Review requisitions and data entry errors and provide appropriate feedback. 4. Resolve accounts, updates, client phone calls and reports. 5. Enter/Update patient demographics, medical testing, and insurance information into laboratory and analytic software. 6. Import and update reports, trending tools and establish tracking mechanisms. 7. Maintain knowledge and compliance with internal laboratory procedures, collections practices, and HIPPA regulations. 8. Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards. 9. Other office support responsibilities, as necessary.
