Must be 17 or older•About us Southern Drug Company is a locally owned, forward thinking, independent pharmacy in Blue Ridge, GA. We strive to provide the best customer care paired with quick and accurate prescription fills.
Pay Scale:
Competitive We are seeking a Pharmacy Customer Service & Sales Specialist and Pharmacy Assistant to became a part of our team! We are looking for someone with a flexible week day schedule that can work four week days 8:45am-6pm and every other Saturday 8:45am-2pm. You will assist with helping patients with their medication and in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist. You will also be trained on companion sales to support our patients in their medication regimens. Our team members have excellent customer service skills, are very detail oriented, and take great care of our customers. (Serious inquiries only please.)
Responsibilities:
Operate cash register inside and at drive-thru Recommend high-quality front-end products for patients Assist in accurately receiving orders and following through with returns Scheduling appointments and triaging prescriptions using computer software Label and record dosage information Assist with office duties as directed by manager Assist with merchandising Assist with ordering and stocking medications Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies Work closely with other employees to manage front end of pharmacy Learn about OTC items and specific brands we carry Assist patients with compression sock fittings, brace fittings, and durable medical equipment Assist patients with filling out forms for COVID Vaccines, all other vaccines, and contactless assistance with filling out forms for COVID tests Assist with deliveries in our pharmacy-owned delivery vehicle (2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee)
Qualifications:
Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields is preferred (not required) Must be 17 or older Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent email and phone skills Strong attention to detail Strong math skills Strong organizational skills Strong customer service skills Excellent driving record Must be able to stand during shift and lift up to 30 pounds
