Tait's Lawn Products - Brunswick, GA $17-$20/hour, depending on experience 20-30 hours/week | Monday-Friday | No weekends Tait's Lawn Products is looking for a friendly, dependable person to join our team and help take care of customers in our downtown Brunswick store. This is more than a cashier position. You'll help customers find what they need, operate our POS system, look up mower and small-engine parts, and pitch in throughout the store when needed. What You'll Do Greet customers and help determine what they need Operate our cash register/POS system Look up parts such as mower blades, belts, filters, carburetors and other components Answer phones and assist with customer questions Stock and organize merchandise Help customers with lawn equipment, fertilizer, seed and other lawn and garden products Occasionally assist customers with loading purchases Work with our sales, parts and service teams to provide excellent customer service What We're Looking For We're primarily looking for the right person, not a particular resume.

You should be:

Friendly and comfortable talking with customers Dependable and ready to work Comfortable using computers and learning new systems Detail-oriented and willing to learn Someone who notices what needs to be done and jumps in to help Comfortable working in an active retail environment that involves time on your feet, stocking merchandise and occasionally helping customers load purchases Some of the products we sell weigh up to 50 lbs.; assistance is available when needed. Experience with outdoor power equipment, automotive parts, hardware, equipment rental, marine, tractors or other mechanical products is a plus, but not required. We're happy to train the right person. This position will initially be approximately 20-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday , with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right person. Tait's has been serving the Brunswick area for more than 100 years. We're looking for someone who will take pride in helping us take great care of our customers and continue building the next chapter of the business.

Pay:
