Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Customer Service Representative, where your enthusiasm and dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. In this vital role, you will serve as the friendly first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of our veterinary clinic. Your expertise in animal care, veterinary terminology, and administrative support will ensure a smooth and compassionate experience for every visitor. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a lively, pet-focused environment committed to excellence and animal well-being. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and assist with appointment scheduling using veterinary software and front desk procedures Answer phone calls promptly, address client inquiries, and provide accurate information about pet care services Manage medical collections efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and billing procedures are followed Support veterinary staff with animal handling, restraint, and basic animal care tasks as needed Maintain organized records of client interactions, medical records, and laboratory results in compliance with USDA, GVMA and DEA regulations Assist with kennel duties, including cleaning, feeding, and monitoring animals' health status Facilitate communication between clients and veterinary team members regarding treatment plans, surgery schedules, and follow-up care Qualifications Prior experience in veterinary clinics or animal hospitals is highly preferred, but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to handle animals safely during examinations or procedures; kennel experience or animal care background is beneficial Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to providing compassionate pet care while supporting the health of animals through exceptional customer service. Pay:
$11.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
