Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional service and addressing their inquiries with professionalism Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Conduct product demos when applicable, showcasing features and benefits to customers Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity Assist in stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring the store remains clean and inviting Use strong phone etiquette to answer customer calls promptly and assist with inquiries or orders Support grocery store operations by managing checkout lines efficiently and providing friendly assistance Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal expression and active listening Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately while maintaining attention to detail Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and upselling techniques is advantageous Professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone or in person Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels exceptional customer experiences!
