Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Customer Service Representative, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient operator at the heart of our retail environment. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service, handle retail sales transactions with precision, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and builds lasting customer relationships. Whether assisting customers with product information or managing cash register operations, you'll play a vital role in driving sales and enhancing store success. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit, and digital payments Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections Conduct product demos when appropriate to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Manage cash register operations with integrity, including cash handling, balancing the cash drawer, and issuing receipts Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure products are well-presented and accessible for customers Assist with merchandising efforts to promote featured products and seasonal displays Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash register operations Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Excellent communication skills and friendly phone etiquette to engage customers confidently Demonstrated ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and retail math calculations Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management techniques Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your skills in retail sales, cashiering, and customer engagement.
