About Woodstock Veterinary Hospital At Woodstock Veterinary Hospital , we believe veterinary medicine is about more than treating pets — it is about caring for the people who love them. We are looking for a Full-Time Client Service Representative (CSR) who shares that philosophy and wants to become an important part of our hospital team. About the Position The Client Service Representative is often the first and last person our clients interact with , making this role extremely important to the overall experience at our hospital. We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, compassionate, and comfortable working in a busy veterinary environment . The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, loves animals, communicates well, and can remain calm and professional when the hospital gets busy. This is a hands-on customer service position in a medical environment. Our CSR team works closely with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and hospital leadership to make sure our patients and clients receive the best possible care. Responsibilities Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with questions and requests Schedule and manage appointments accurately Check clients and patients in and out of the hospital Communicate with clients regarding appointment information, estimates, medical services, and follow-up care Process payments and maintain accurate client records Communicate effectively with the veterinary medical team Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Assist with prescription and medication-related client communication as directed by the medical team Help coordinate client visits, drop-offs, discharges, and other hospital services Provide compassionate support to clients during stressful or emotional situations Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling client and patient information Assist with other hospital duties as needed Represent Woodstock Veterinary Hospital in a positive and professional manner What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be: Compassionate and genuinely caring toward both people and animals Friendly, approachable, and professional Dependable and punctual Comfortable communicating with a wide variety of clients Organized and detail-oriented Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable answering phones and managing multiple priorities A strong team player who is willing to help wherever needed Able to handle difficult or emotional client conversations with patience and professionalism Comfortable learning veterinary terminology, hospital procedures, and computer systems Willing to learn and grow within the hospital Veterinary experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong customer service experience who demonstrate the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn. Schedule This is a full-time position . Woodstock Veterinary Hospital sees appointments Monday through Saturday , and the CSR schedule will vary based on hospital needs. The position may include opening and/or closing shifts and Saturday shifts on a rotating basis . Flexibility and reliability are important requirements for this position.
