Summary of Functions- Review, process, and expedite orders for items when contacted by telephone, email, or IT systems from the customer. Follow up, provide status, and resolve issues as required. 2. Essential Functions
- Access and apply GXO's policies, procedures, and documents
- Access and review various reports and investigate issues to resolution
- Create/review Inbound & Outbound orders as required
- Responsible for the timely processing of urgent orders to the warehouse floor for expedited deliveries to the client
- Respond to emergency requests for information and order status from the customer
- Coordinate with shipping, warehouse, and order prep staff to expedite or trace missing or delayed orders
- Receive and verify customer complaints: able to resolve issues through collaboration with customer, plant management and freight carriers
- Performs general administrative support including, but not limited to: appointments, filing, inventory maintenance, email/phone correspondence, and contact lists.
- Provides general support by performing clerical duties,; maintaining department document-tation (load documentation, invoices)
- Review any late or failed deliveries and investigate to determine corrective action.
- Compile statistics and prepare various reports for management
- May assist with other functions within the warehouse
- Ensure proper, efficient, and accurate use of the processes
- Communicates well with the supervisor and other co-workers and departments
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Adheres to and enforces safe work practices and follows safety practices
- Assist other employees in the performance of their assigned duties when necessary
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business demands, sometimes on short notice.

- Demonstrates an understanding of GXO Logistics - Supply Chain quality policy (POL1490) and environmental policy (POL9855)
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment; adheres to and enforces safe work practices and safety policies

- Demonstrates commitment to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient and accurate use of the process
- Communicates well with leadership, team members and other departments 4. Physical Requirements
- Normal or corrected hearing and vision
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb and stoop, kneel, bend, and twist as needed
- The employee may lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time utilizing a computer and telephone 5. Education and/or Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 - 6 months related experience and/or training or combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, shipping and receiving process documents; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
