Description:
Position Summary The Customer Service & Marketing Specialist serves as a key member of the Mill 95 team by supporting both customer engagement and marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for creating and managing digital marketing content, supporting sales efforts, providing exceptional customer service, and helping ensure a positive customer experience across multiple communication channels. Approximately 60% of the role is focused on marketing and digital communications, 30% on customer service and sales support, and 10% on special projects and administrative support. This position requires excellent communication skills, creativity, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment. This position is an in-office (non-remote) position located in Parma, Idaho. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Marketing & Communications (Approximately 60%) Develop and execute social media content across company platforms. Create blog articles and website content that support Mill 95's brand and products. Update website content, photos, and product information. Create and distribute email marketing campaigns. Build and maintain marketing automation workflows using HubSpot. Assist with CRM management and customer segmentation. Develop marketing collateral including presentations, brochures, flyers, product sheets, and digital content. Assist the sales team by preparing customer presentations and marketing materials. Coordinate marketing projects and timelines using project management software (Asana or similar). Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements based on analytics. Maintain brand consistency across all customer-facing materials. Stay informed on industry trends and recommend new marketing opportunities. Customer Service & Sales Support (Approximately 30%) Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and website. Manage and respond to shared inboxes. Provide exceptional customer service by answering product questions and resolving customer issues. Support remote sales outreach and customer follow-up efforts. Coordinate customer deliveries and communicate shipping updates. Assist with customer documentation and order support. Support Camp 95 and CBC coordination activities. Maintain and organize the Mill 95 planning calendar. Develop positive relationships with customers, distributors, vendors, and industry partners. Escalate customer concerns appropriately while ensuring timely resolution. Projects & Administrative Support (Approximately 10%) Assist with special projects as assigned. Coordinate facility tours and greet vendors and visitors. Support office walk-in customers and guests. Assist with event preparation and logistics as needed. Provide general administrative support to the Sales and Marketing team. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with occasional travel to customer locations, trade shows, or industry events. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to: Sit, stand, walk, and use hands for computer work. Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically. Occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally travel for customer visits, tours, or marketing events. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Position Type & Expected Hours This is a full-time position. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in office (non-remote) located in Parma, Idaho. Occasional evening, weekend, and travel requirements may be necessary to support customer meetings, trade shows, or marketing events.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in marketing, customer service, sales support, or a related role preferred. Experience with digital marketing platforms and email marketing. Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot is preferred. Experience supporting B2B sales is preferred. Agricultural or hops industry experience is a plus. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service orientation with a professional and positive attitude. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
