Our Service Department is a critical part of our dealership, and we are looking for a Service Advisor who takes pride in building relationships, selling with integrity, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from write-up to delivery. If you know how to communicate with customers, work effectively with technicians, and keep a busy service drive moving, we want to talk with you. The Opportunity As a Service Advisor , you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and our Service Department. You will listen to the customer's concerns, recommend the right services, communicate clearly throughout the repair process, and make sure every customer knows what is happening with their vehicle. This is a high-energy, customer-facing position where organization, communication, automotive knowledge, and follow-through matter every day. What You'll Do Greet customers promptly and professionally and create a positive first impression. Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle's needs. Write repair orders with clear, detailed descriptions of customer concerns and requested services. Explain recommended maintenance and repairs in a way customers can understand. Work closely with technicians to diagnose concerns, develop repair plans, and keep work moving. Provide accurate estimates and communicate changes in pricing or repair time before proceeding. Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and proactively communicate delays or additional needs. Identify and recommend maintenance and repairs based on the vehicle's condition, manufacturer recommendations, and technician findings. Present repair recommendations professionally and confidently without compromising customer trust. Monitor repair orders to ensure vehicles are completed on time and customers are kept informed. Review completed repairs with customers and explain work performed and charges clearly. Follow up after the visit to ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships. Maintain accurate customer, vehicle, and repair-order records. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service drive. Work as a team with technicians, parts, management, and other advisors to deliver an exceptional experience. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is confident, organized, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
You should have:
Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing automotive position. Strong understanding of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair processes. Excellent communication and listening skills. The ability to explain technical information in simple, customer-friendly language. Strong sales and relationship-building skills. The ability to recommend needed repairs and maintenance with confidence and integrity. Excellent organization and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment. A team-first attitude and willingness to work closely with technicians and parts personnel. Professional appearance and a commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience. Experience with automotive estimating is a plus, but not required .
