Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a team in Illinois in a contract position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting customers, managing order-related activities, and keeping communication clear from initial request through final resolution. The person in this position will help ensure accurate order handling, respond to customer questions promptly, and work closely with internal partners to maintain a smooth customer experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming customer calls and messages, routing requests appropriately and ensuring each inquiry receives timely attention.
  • Enter customer orders into company systems with a high level of accuracy and confirm that all required details are complete.
  • Review order information carefully, including item specifications, quantities, and pricing, to help prevent processing errors.
  • Follow orders throughout the fulfillment cycle and provide customers with clear updates regarding progress, delays, or changes.
  • Address questions and concerns related to order status, documentation, and general service needs in a thorough and attentive manner.
  • Partner with internal teams involved in order processing and fulfillment to resolve service issues efficiently.
  • Research order discrepancies, identify the source of the problem, and take action to correct records or coordinate next steps.
  • Keep clear documentation of recurring customer issues and share trends that may support service and process improvements.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality support across the full order lifecycle, from initial contact to final issue resolution.
