Job Description
Evanston Animal Hospital is a privately owned, small-animal general practice with a strong focus on high-quality, personalized medicine, providing clients with a veterinary team they can trust. We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. At our hospital, we foster a welcoming and supportive environment where every team member is valued. Join our team as we prepare to move into our brand-new, larger hospital later this year!
Responsibilities include:
Greeting clients and their pets Checking patients in and out Scheduling appointments Differentiating between routine and emergency cases Communicating clearly and effectively with clients and team members Managing incoming phone calls, texts, and emails Maintaining accurate electronic medical records The ideal candidate will have: At least 2 years of recent experience as a veterinary receptionist (preferred) Excellent communication and customer service skills The ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional phone etiquette and experience with multi-line phone systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills A positive attitude, a great sense of humor, and a genuine enjoyment of working with people and their pets Applicants must be available to work daytime and evening shifts, as well as rotating Saturdays.Full-Time Benefits Include:
