Job Purpose Our mission is to assist and empower low- and moderate-income individuals to obtain the opportunities needed to prepare themselves for self-sufficiency. A Client Services Representative is a key player in supporting their team members day-to-day. They provide administrative and logistical assistance, such as answering phones, processing grant documents, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Duties and responsibilities:
Day-to-day duties include, but are not limited to: Respond to customer inquiries from calls, email, website, portals, etc. Conduct Intake/Outreach/Referrals for all agency programs Development and maintenance of all required files Documentation for LIHEAP, CSBG, Weatherization and other agency programs Data entry of applicant information Conduct and record client follow up for specific programs Share in clerical assignments with other staff Conduct outreach 2-4 days a week May be required to work occasional mandatory overtime including Saturdays Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Customer Service experience, or experience working in social services Basic computer skills, basic knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel, and ability to use email Average math skills and logic skills Dependable, punctual, and organized Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills including reading and spelling Ability to lift up to 20lbs Valid Illinois Driver's License and auto insurance Ability to pass a background check Bilingual preferred
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
