If so, we want to talk to you. We are a busy, independent auto service shop that has been in business for 30 years. We're looking for a customer-centric Service Advisor who is interested in a long-term position with the opportunity to exercise their sales skills while focusing on what's best for the client. The individual we're looking for has a pleasant attitude and strong work ethic, is a team player, and believes in doing what it take to get the job done. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills (written and verbal), believe in going the extra mile, and be able to build rapport and trust with clients and technicians alike. A minimum of 5-7 years experience in the automotive repair industry is desired. If you're an experienced Auto Technician who is looking for a change, this position might be ideal for you. You must be tech savvy and have strong computer skills. ASE certifications are a plus. Job duties consist of but are not limited to taking care of our clients, managing the schedule, estimating and selling recommended repairs and maintenance, ordering parts, and assisting with shop workflow. What Skills and Experience Do You Need?
The ideal candidate will have:
Sales skills paired with the drive to do what's best for the client. 5-7 years minimum of automotive experience. (Prior experience as a service advisor or technician is preferred.) Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact well with clients and team members. Strong computer skills. A high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license with no major violations. Fluency in English. (Spanish a plus!) We consider it a plus if you have: ASE Certifications What are the Job Requirements?
