Job Description

Primary Purpose Build and maintain relationships with local employers, identify their workforce needs, and connect them with workforce development programs, training opportunities, and qualified job seekers. Key ResponsibilitiesEmployer Relations Develop and maintain partnerships with businesses and employers. Conduct workforce needs assessments with employers. Serve as the primary contact for employer workforce needs. Follow up with employers regularly and provide ongoing support. Promote workforce programs and services to businesses. Workforce Development Create customized business service plans based on employer needs. Coordinate services with workforce partners, agencies, and community organizations. Match qualified job seekers with employer job openings. Assist employers with recruitment, hiring, and workforce training solutions.
Training Programs Promote and manage:
Work Experience programs On-the-Job Training (OJT) Customized Training Incumbent Worker Training Develop training plans, job descriptions, contracts, and worksite agreements. Monitor training and worksite agreements for compliance. Job Seeker Support Coordinate referrals and placements for job-ready individuals. Provide career guidance and employment counseling. Develop and deliver job search, soft skills, and workplace readiness workshops. Community and Business Engagement Represent the organization at business events, job fairs, networking functions, boards, and councils. Deliver presentations to employers, community groups, and the public. Promote public awareness of workforce services and programs. Research, Reporting, and Administration Maintain employer records and service data. Track local business and economic trends. Compile reports and provide monthly activity updates to management. Conduct research and maintain current workforce and business information.
